Star Hill is currently home to 22 historic buildings including several other primitive structures that have been relocated from around central Texas. All were originally constructed between 1850 and 1935. The chapels and surrounding event spaces have been carefully restored to modern building codes.

In early 2008, owner Adam Woolley collaborated with legendary house mover H.D. Snow to relocate the historic Spillman-Guinn Homestead from its original site over to an area adjacent to Star Hill, for renovation as a family residence.
